Just thought I'd document the texture of my hair at this stage just before the first year anniversary.
I know loads of sistahs out there are fretting because their ends haven't completely sealed yet...the thing is, i must be the only one who likes it like that and hopes they never seal entirely. I like the Curly Q thing going on.
Am I the only one?????

Nah I love the look of my Curly Q's But they can be a handfull at times. Your hair looks great it has really grown. I love the color you use in your hair is that Henna or is it permanent color?
I love the way my hair curls at the ends & I also hope it stays that way. I think it gives it a really cool look.
Your texture is be-you-ti-ful!
@ Kay E: Its still Henna, we have this wonderful relationship as we grow together getting to know what's good for each other and what's not.
@ new2locs: Thank you.
@ Kumina: Thank you.
Nope Sis, you are not the only one. I LOVE my curlyqs, though many have disappeared in the back.
@ Msfullroller: I know i remember when I had traditional locks, I had about a hand full in front that never sealed completely. I loved them. Also each time i trimmed them back, i could unravel as far as i wanted to achieve curly Qs.
I love the curly qs too. Many of my locs still have them at 19 mths. Arashia has them too and her loc are more than 2 1/2yrs. BTW I didn't know LUSH had a shop in watford - I got some samples of caca maroon so I'll mix with caca brun for the next colour. Your colour has really lasted and still looking good.
Thank you Ofo! I guess because i have to henna every 4 weeks or so the colour get more and more intense with each application.
You're certainly not alone, I hope my curly q's stay. I'm only six months in and I love love the curly Q's especially after a washing!
